GEUS
serves Greenville's 23,071 residents through 11,867 meters, 32 miles
of transmission line, 500 miles of overhead distribution line, and 53
miles of underground distribution line, supplying 476,907 megawatt hours
of electrical power annually. Peak demand is 105 megawatts. TMPA (Texas
Municipal Power Authority) supplies wholesale power to the utility. The
GEUS steam generator plant supplies
peaking power.
