GEUS and Cap Rock Energy Propose Territory Exchange (April 7, 2006-Greenville, Texas) Cap Rock Energy and GEUS announced a proposal today to exchange a portion of their certificated service territories located west of the Greenville city limits. Approximately 3 square miles of territory is involved in the transfer. A joint proposal is expected to be submitted to the Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas requesting that the territory boundaries be modified. The PUC established electric service territories throughout Texas in the 1970’s. Under the proposal, approximately 109 current Cap Rock Energy customers will begin receiving electric service from GEUS. “GEUS appreciates Cap Rock working with us on this exchange”, said GEUS General Manager David McCalla. “We look forward to providing service to these customers”, McCalla added. A map of the territory can be viewed below
