1. Will SmartPay (Prepaid Electric) Customers receive account alerts?

Yes, Customers can select what type of alerts they wish to receive and when to receive those alerts. GEUS recommends that these alerts not be scheduled before 7:00 am in order to receive the most up-to-date information.

2. How often will SmartPay Customers see usage data?

Once-daily account information is uploaded. This occurs at approximately 7:00 am.

3. When will SmartPay Disconnects occur?

Disconnects will occur once daily. Payments must be made no later than 1:30pm daily to avoid disconnection.

4. How will SmartPay Customers add money to their account?

SmartPay Customers will no longer use the card system. SmartPay offers options like payments online, using an app, pay by phone, in person, or at remote locations. Visit our SmartPay Prepaid Electric Service page on GEUS.org for detailed payment information.
